Remix OS : A PC with Android

NI PCs with Android are not nothing new on the market, but a new solution in this area called “Mini Remix”, manufactured by Jide, appears to be the first model that actually tries to turn the OS from Google in a acceptable solution to use with keyboard and mouse. The device has the Android Lollipop, but its interface was fairly reworked to function more or less like Windows.

This customization of Jide is called “the Remix” and is already present in a tablet called Remix, which is very similar to the Surface. This device was the first project of the brand and had collective financing achieved through Kickstarter. The startup has already delivered the tablets to supporters, and, apparently, the feedback has been positive.

Returning to the Remix Mini, the computer will be further optimized to be used as a desktop, but still have access to the entire Play Store and its millions of productivity apps, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

The Jide hasn’t put the Remix Mini collective financing on Kickstarter, but this should happen during the month of July. The starting price should be $ 20, the equivalent of 62 R$ in current quotation.
Besides, most likely it will be possible to import it into Brazil, once the site of collective financing typically performs deliveries globally. It is worth noting also that, as the value is low, it is possible that the IRS does not apply import taxes on it. So it’s a good deal.
